Sunday,4th of January, 2009

2009 lay ahead of us. So as always let’s have a brief look upon the last year:

*Here’s Iran and obviously there hadn’t been any gigs during whole 2008 as it won’t be during 2009. So the band spend most of the 2008 writing new stuff for the third album and also waiting to get the chance to exit Iran. Waiting…

* Since early 2008 we’ve been involved in a Book/Cd project called Rock Comics presented by Cypher Arts. This is the second volume in this series, concerning 16th century’s pirates. We contributed with one song called “Limb by Limb” which is about a French famous pirate named François l'Olonnais. The track was recorded back in early 2008 in Tehran and few weeks ago Lou Molino recorded the drums and the song was mastered by Billy Sherwood in San Francesco. Billy had been Guitarist/Vocalist to the legendary band YES, and also he’s worked as producer/engineer for several bands including Motorhead. An early 2009 summer release is expected.

* In September a Slayer Tribute Cd featuring Ahoora (covering Blood Red) came out in Europe which held a terrorist picture instead of ours in the booklet! This shocking mindless act received fairly reactions from those who cared. Especially in the famous Metal Underground.

*Throughout 2008 there were almost 30 articles published concerning Ahoora and its latest release “All in Blood with You”.

*In August Alireza Saeidian the lead guitar player, succeeded to immigrate to Canada.

Let’s wish a pleasant successful year for everyone including ourselves
Stay True!
